Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Full-time & part-time · St Paul, MN

As a DSP at Midway Homes, you provide person-centered support across all our service lines — homemaker, in-home support, night supervision, community living support, respite care, and ICS housing. One role, many ways to help. You'll be trained in everything you need.

What you'll do

Assist clients with daily living activities — cooking, cleaning, personal care, and household routines

Provide overnight supervision and safety support in staffed homes

Help clients build skills for greater independence — budgeting, community navigation, social participation

Support clients in their community — errands, appointments, social activities

Follow individualized support plans and document service delivery

Communicate with team leads and coordinators about client needs and progress

What we're looking for

Compassion and patience — the rest we can teach
Must be 18 or older
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Able to pass a DHS background study
Reliable transportation is helpful but not required for all shifts
